Welcome to St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, a vibrant faith community in Poteet, Texas. Our church, under the guidance of our pastoral leadership, is dedicated to serving the spiritual needs of our community. We are a proud member of the Archdiocese of San Antonio, embracing its Pastoral Vision of building a Catholic community that is:

Requirements for Baptism:

  • Parents must be registered members of the parish
  • Godparents must be practicing Catholics who have received all their sacraments
  • Pre-baptismal preparation class attendance is required for parents and godparents
